10 foods dentists want your kid to avoid

Your child could be eating any of these sticky and sugary foods through the day. Some of these foods  get stuck between teeth or increase the acid levels in the mouth. So if your kid eats them, be sure he brushes and rinses well afterward.

  • Gummy candy (even vitamins)
  • Caramel

  • Breads and refined foods

  • Carbonated drinks

  • Fruit drinks with high-fructose corn syrup

 

  • Bubble gum (with sugar)

  • Raisins
